How to Tie a Larks Head Knot Step-by-Step 

1. Fold a strand of cord in half to form a loop. Place the loop behind the object, such as a dowel or ring, top down.
2. Take the vertical ends and pass them through the loop
3. Pull on the cord ends to tighten.

Reverse Lark's Head knot

A variation of the Lark's Head knot is the Reverse Lark's Head knot, which is essentially the back-side of the Lark's Head knot.

How to Tie a Reverse Larks Head Knot Step-by-Step 

1. Fold a strand of cord in half to form a loop, and place the loop behind the object, such as a dowel or ring, bottom up.
2. Take the vertical ends and pass them through the loop
