The Endless Falls Knot

Bochiknot macrame - the endless falls knot

The Endless Falls knot is one of those knots that’s just pure macrame magic.

On the front, this gorgeous braided look feels like a cozy knit, perfect for adding texture and style to anything you’re making.

This knot brings that extra wow factor if you’re knotting keychains, lanyards, bag straps, plant hangers, or even jewelry.

But here’s the fun part—flip it over, and the back gives you a cool ladder-like pattern, adding a whole new dimension to your project.

It’s like getting two designs in one.

The Endless Falls knot delivers serious versatility and charm if you want that bold, braided front or the sleek, structured back.

It’s a knot that always keeps things interesting!

Steps to Tie an Endless Fallas Knot:

  • Step 1: Tie a strand of Color #1 cord onto the dowel using a Lark's Head knot.
  • Step 2: Before tightening the knot, weave a strand of Color #2 cord horizontally through the Lark's Head knot.
  • Step 3: Criss-cross the ends of the Color #2 cord into a loop beneath the two middle cords.
  • Step 4: Take the two middle cords, pull them through the back, and bring the ends up through the middle section of those same two cords.
  • Step 5: Pull on the working cords to tighten everything.

When repeated, the pattern will look like this:
