Macrame Cord & Materials Used
You will need the following materials to create the heart chain pattern:
Cord Lengths
For this project, you'll only need 4 x 400 cm (157”) of 3mm macrame cord.

Creating the Diamond Lace Pattern
Step 1
- Make a V-shaped row of Double Half Hitch ("DHH") knots.



Step 2

Make DHH knot Diamond / Daisy pattern in the middle.



Step 3
- Make 8 Half Hitch knots with the far left and far right 2 cords.


Step 4
- Add 2 DHH knots onto the anchor cord. Repeat the same on the other side.




Step 5
- Make one more DHH knot in the middle.



Step 6
- Repeat the pattern below as many times as desired.
